About Us
Rotadex Systems was founded in 1954 by Geoffrey Barnett, originally to sell the 'Rotadex' range of business and archive storage solutions, including the iconic card file unit similar to many in the 1950s to 1990s.
The company had its head office in Birmingham and 1990 came under new ownership when it was acquired by the entrepreneur Philip White. The company remains under the ownership of the White family. In 2001, the Rotadex moved to its current site and consolidated its manufacturing and distribution into one purpose-built site. The move coincided with a significant multi-million pound investment in new equipment, allowing Rotadex to develop our product range to create a range of products for Office Museum and Archive a range that continues to develop to this day. We have developed expertise in steel storage solutions for a range of applications as well as capability in the production of paper and board storage with acid free PH neutral and lignin free product being a specialty in this range.
